Call it what you will--nerd, geek, computer weenie, whatever--but I'm a techie.  I also like bags, packs, cases, and almost all other kinds of things for holding my techie stuff.  There are a lot of bags out there, from the "skater cool" to the "urban cool" to the "tacticool."  I myself lean towards the "tacticool"--the stuff designed for military, police, and so on is awfully expandable and customizable, and really tough (just like a cubical weenie needs, right?)--but I'll consider just about anything with loads of pockets.  I've built up quite a collection, and I slavishly follow some gearbag sites and forums (see the links page for some of these).  It's been on these forums that I started putting up previews and reviews and other things about bags, and I've even played around with a web page to host some of my early attempts... and that has lead to the site you're on now, TechieBags.com.  I'll be putting up techiebag news, reviews, links, and anything else that fits.  If you're reading this right now you'll see things are pretty empty around here--I'm just getting started, but I hope to start fleshing things out soon!  Welcome, and enjoy your visit.
